I just wanted a simple staircase tucked away in our Master Closet, through the laundry room to our attic, to replace the pull down staircase, for a small budget. Called the Stair Guy Portland, and was told I would need an Architect to draw plans to get an exception to code from the City, because the stairs would be too narrow. He recommended the Architect, who felt confident we could get approval for code exception, but the project was far more complicated than my budget. She recommended I contact Advanced Construction. Jordan worked with the Architect plan, made recommendations, produced a timeline and budget for the project. Jordan managed the subs, and most importantly to us, the Inspector from the City of Portland.The Stairs are gorgeous, the wood work matches the rest of the house perfectly, the deconstruction phase and reconstruction, including sheet-rock work and finish carpentry is flawless. I highly recommend Jordan and his team. He was here everyday, his team was here, or subs, and was very considerate to us retirees who lived here through the project. By a the way, after the project stared we decided to put hardwood floors on the second level, but didn’t want the timeline to change. Jordan did his best to make this happen.We could not be happier with the result and highly recommend Advanced Construction.
